For Home Students applying for the Greenwich Hardship Fund, please be informed that you will be required to also have your maximum maintenance loan support from Student Finance England.

If you have not applied for the maximum maintenance support provided by Student Finance England unfortunately your request will be declined. We would encourage to submit a request for the maximum maintenance loan before applying for the Greenwich Hardship Fund.  When making this application please inform us that the maintenance loan request is in process and be informed that you will be required to upload evidence  of revisited entitlement letter to the team via the Digital Student Centre.

 

Greenwich Hardship Fund 

Please see the information below for what supporting documentations are required for the Greenwich Hardship Fund Application;

Student Type: A 

If you are :  Single UG & Home/EU/FT/PT 

  1. Three months most recent bank statements for all accounts held in your name 

  1. Tenancy agreement if you pay rent or mortgage statement 

  1. Study Timetable for – Commuter purposes 

  1. Evidence of Academic Year’s SFE/SLC notification award letter 

  1. Evidence of utility bills for – Energy Bill Financial support award. 

  1. Evidence of travel cost i.e. Oyster card or rail card report (one month) 

  1. Evidence of government benefits (if applicable) Council Tax, Housing Benefit, Pensions, or PIP 

  1. Evidence of any awards or scholarship i.e. Greenwich Bursary, External Scholarships, AI or progression scholarships. 

  1. Evidence of payslip (if in employment) 3 months 

 

Student Type: B 

If you are :  Living with dependants/children/Spouse 

  1. All of Type A supporting documentation will apply. 

  1. Childcare evidence, full pages, screen shots and images not acceptable 

  1. Child benefit Letter 

  1. Partners or Spouse bank statements  

 

Student Type: C 

If you are on a: Teacher Training & Nursing & Paramedics Programmes: 

  1. All of type A & B (if applicable) 

  1. NHS Learning Support Fund all letters showing detailed payment dates and amounts to receive 

  1. Teacher Training Bursary/Grant Letter 

 

Student Type D 

If you are a: PG Student 

  1. All the above if applicable (Student Type A, B, & C) 

  1. Evidence of Academic Year’s SFE/SLC PGL notification award letter
